About Us
The pediatric otolaryngology program (Pediatric ENT) provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to children of all ages from neonates to teenagers. Our team includes two pediatric ENT surgeons, our physicians’ assistant, and our hospital-based pediatric audiologists. The pediatric ENT surgeons are subspecialty trained in the broad spectrum of pediatric ENT conditions, including congenital problems of the head and neck, complex airway and voice disorders, and hearing loss. We provide care through dedicated clinics with pediatric audiology onsite. Our team participates as part of multidisciplinary Manitoba Centre for Craniofacial Difference.
The Pediatric ENT clinic is located within HSC-Children’s, on the second floor. Our clinics are equipped with microscopes, rigid and flexible nasal endoscopic equipment, and video systems to enable parents and children to fully understand their conditions. In the office setting, we manage a variety of issues including foreign body removal, nasal cautery, endoscopic nasal and airway assessments, and local “lump and bump” removals.
