Dr. Andrew Bysice is a Head and Neck Oncology and Reconstructive Surgeon based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. He completed his undergraduate and Masters degree at McMaster University and pursed his medical education at University of Calgary.
Dr. Bysice returned to Ontario where he trained in the prestigious Otolaryngology -Head and Neck Surgery residency program at Western University. After taking a keen interest in Surgical Oncology, Dr. Bysice pursued a fellowship in Advanced Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Alberta. His clinical interests are mucosal head and neck cancer, skin cancer and reconstructive surgery including local and free flap surgery. His research interests include dental rehabilitation of head and neck cancer patients, quality improvement and patient safety, and examining patient outcomes of head and neck cancer patients. Dr. Bysice is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, a member of the Canadian Society Otolaryngologists and the American Head and Neck Society.
